Amshinov

Hasidic Dynasties

Amshinov is a dynasty of Hasidic Judaism founded in the town of Mszczonow, Poland, called Amshinov in Yiddish, by Yaakov Dovid Kalish. It emerged as a branch of Vurka Hasidism, which itself descended from Peshischa Hasidism through Simcha Bunim of Peshischa, the teacher of the founder's father, Israel Yitzhak Kalish.
