All San Deities

The gods and spirit beings of the San peoples of southern Africa, among the oldest continuously practiced religious traditions on the continent, known through oral tradition and through rock art spanning thousands of years across the Kalahari and surrounding regions. San cosmology centers on a trickster-creator figure whose stories account for the origin of death, fire and the animals San hunters depend on.
