All Schism (Religious Events)

Splits in which a religious community divided into two or more bodies, such as the Digambara and Svetambara split in Jainism, the East-West Schism, the First Fitna in Islam and the Western Schism of the papacy. An entry belongs here when its article presents a division of a community. The group page lists events of the same kind together so that a reader can compare how different religions remember and record such moments.
