Dead Sea Scrolls (Scriptures and Texts)

Texts found in the caves near Qumran, such as the Community Rule, the War Scroll, the Temple Scroll, the Thanksgiving Hymns, the Genesis Apocryphon and the Habakkuk Commentary. An entry belongs here when its article presents a scroll from the Qumran finds. The group page lists the texts of one canon or kind together so that a reader can see which works a tradition gathers under a single head. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
