Cozaana is a Zapotec deity associated with the creation of animals and fish and with hunting, recorded among the deities of the pre-Columbian Zapotec civilization of what is now Oaxaca, Mexico. The surviving English-language record pairs Cozaana as consort to Huichaana, a Zapotec goddess linked to human creation, procreation and children who is not yet recorded on this atlas; that relationship is left for a future edges wave.
