This page groups tarot spreads by the kind of question, love, career or general guidance, each layout is designed to answer. Wikipedia notes tarot card reading works by "drawing and interpreting cards to uncover meaning" once a question has been formulated, and different spreads are built around different kinds of question. Browsing by purpose lets a visitor find every spread designed for the same purpose.

Seven-card spreads
This group gathers the seven-card tarot spreads: fuller layouts in which seven cards are arranged to examine a question in some depth, often tracing a situation through influences, obstacles and outcomes.
The browser will find the seven-card spreads the atlas gathers. The entries describe each spread's positions and their reading. The atlas presents tarot reading as a modern divinatory practice.
