Ritual Drama

This page groups performance works by their staged format. Wikipedia notes that "theatre diversified into musicals integrating song and dance and opera with all the words set to music," each a distinct format built from the same basic dramatic art. Browsing by format lets a visitor compare a spoken play against a musical or an opera telling a similar story.
