All Islam

Groups the spreadevent entries documenting Islam's historical spread from seventh century Arabia through the early conquests across the Levant, Persia, North Africa and Iberia, and its later expansion through trade and mission activity into sub-Saharan Africa, Central and South Asia and Southeast Asia. Belongs here: any event marking Islam's geographic, demographic or political expansion into a new region or ruling house. Does not belong here: internal doctrinal or sectarian-formation events with no geographic-spread component; the spread events of any other tradition.
