Origin from 1400
Bayramiye, also spelled Bayramiyya or Bayramism, is a Turkish Sufi order founded by Haji Bayram Veli in Ankara around the year 1400. The order spread to the Ottoman capital Istanbul, where it maintained several tekkes, and into the Balkans, particularly Bosnia, Macedonia and Greece, as well as into Egypt, where a tekke was established in Cairo.
