The Rahmaniyya is an Algerian Sufi order founded by the Kabyle religious scholar Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Azhari, known as Bu Qabrayn, in the 1770s. It was initially established as a branch of the Khalwatiyya in the Kabylia region, and its membership later expanded substantially throughout Algeria and North Africa.
