Gathers the regions of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean basin: Mesoamerica and the Valley of Mexico, Western Mexico and Yucatan, the Andes and the Southern Cone, Amazonia and the Guianas, North America broadly and the Salt Lake Valley of the Mormon settlement, and the Caribbean islands, Saint-Domingue and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta together with West Africa and the Caribbean's own shared diaspora tradition. A member belongs here for naming a place within the Americas or the Caribbean, including a region named jointly with its African diaspora source.
