Thirty-six-Card Spreads

The Grand Tableau lays out all thirty-six cards of a Lenormand deck at once, reading a whole life or a whole span of time as one connected picture rather than answering a single question card by card. That makes it the largest spread this type catalogues by a wide margin, closer in scale to a system that only ever uses thirty-six cards than to the three, five or seven card draws that make up most tarot practice, and its place here beside tarot spreads reflects a shared vocabulary of card layout rather than a shared deck.
