This page groups tarot spreads by the kind of question, love, career or general guidance, each layout is designed to answer. Wikipedia notes tarot card reading works by "drawing and interpreting cards to uncover meaning" once a question has been formulated, and different spreads are built around different kinds of question. Browsing by purpose lets a visitor find every spread designed for the same purpose.

Twelve-card spreads
This small group holds a twelve-card tarot spread, an extensive layout, often built on the twelve houses of astrology or the twelve months, in which twelve cards give a broad survey, as in a reading for the year ahead.
The browser will find the spread the atlas classes here. The entry describes its positions and their reading. The atlas presents tarot reading as a modern divinatory practice.
