The scriptures of Yarsanism, also called Ahl-e Haqq, a Kurdish religious tradition centered in western Iran that blends elements of Shia Islam, Sufism and older Iranian belief. Its central compilation, the Kalam-e Saranjam, gathers the kalams, long poetic compositions attributed to Sultan Sahak, the figure Yarsani theology reveres as a divine manifestation, and to teachers of his circle and its later successors, transmitted for centuries chiefly within an oral and initiatory framework before modern compilation into a fixed text.
