Yarsanism Sites

The sacred sites of Yarsanism, also called Ahl-e Haqq, a Kurdish religious tradition centered in western Iran and syncretizing elements of Shia Islam, Sufism and older Iranian belief. The Shrine of Sultan Sahak near the Perdivar Bridge in Sheykh Hasan, Kermanshah Province, marks the site associated with Sultan Sahak, the figure Yarsani theology reveres as a divine manifestation, and remains a major pilgrimage destination for the tradition's adherents.
