All Tiger Years

The calendar years from 1920 to 2020 that fall under the Tiger in the twelve animal cycle of the Chinese zodiac. The cycle repeats every twelve years, so each animal returns after a gap of twelve years, and each year of this group is paired in the sexagenary cycle with one of the five elements, wood, fire, earth, metal or water. Traditional calendars begin each zodiac year at the Chinese New Year, which falls in late January or February, rather than on the first of January.
