Hizb 54 carries the whole of Ar-Rahman, the Merciful, built around a repeated refrain addressed to both jinn and mankind, asking which of their Lord's favors they would deny, cataloguing creation, the two seas that meet without mixing, pearls and coral drawn from them, and two paired gardens of Paradise each with two more kinds within it.
The whole of Al-Waqia, the Event, follows, describing three groups on Judgment Day, those foremost in faith, the companions of the right, and the companions of the left, with vivid and contrasting description of what awaits each, and arguing for resurrection from the same creation people rely on daily without a second thought: the water they drink, the fire they kindle, the crops they harvest.
The hizb closes carrying the whole of Al-Hadid, Iron, praising God and noting that iron itself was sent down bearing great strength and benefit for people, encouraging spending in charity and describing a light believers will carry before them on Judgment Day, set against the darkness surrounding hypocrites who lack it, closing with a call to hasten toward forgiveness rather than settle for the comparatively small comfort worldly life alone can offer.
The pearls and coral drawn from the two seas that do not mix are a small, concrete image inside a sura built mostly from repeated rhetorical questions, and commentators often note it as the moment Ar-Rahman turns from abstract praise toward something a listener can actually picture in detail.
