Systems of Division

Astrologers divide the houses by several competing methods (whole-sign, equal, Placidus, Regiomontanus and others), which place the boundaries differently and can put a planet in different houses in the same chart. The choice of house system is a live matter in the tradition, and the atlas notes the main systems rather than assuming one.

The entries give each house its sphere of life, its natural sign and planet, and its place in the chart. The houses work together with the signs, planets and aspects treated in their own categories.

View At A Past Year

The atlas records no dated fact of its own for this entry, so there is no other year to choose.
