Systematizing Modern Numerology

Jordan's central published work, Numerology: The Romance in Your Name (1965), consolidated decades of her Institute's case study work into a single accessible text and remains one of the most widely read numerology books in English. Her most durable technical contributions were the Pinnacles and Challenges, a scheme for reading a person's numerological chart as a sequence of life periods each governed by its own number, and the Planes of Expression, a framework for classifying how a person's core numbers manifest across physical, mental, emotional and intuitive dimensions of life.

These tools, developed and refined through her Institute's research process rather than received in a single act of revelation, became foundational to the numerology practiced under the Pythagorean tradition in the English speaking world after her, extending directly the master number convention Balliett had set out a generation earlier. As with the tradition generally, her framework carries no standing as an empirically verified account of personality or fate; the atlas records it as the systematized modern form the practice took under her, one link in a chain running from Balliett through Jordan into the numerology still taught today.
