The Deck That Turned a Book Into a System

Moonology Oracle Cards is a forty four card deck Yasmin Boland created for Hay House, published in 2018, built on the Moonology method she had already established in her earlier bestselling book of the same name. Each card is keyed to the Moon's monthly cycle and its passage through the twelve zodiac signs, giving the deck a specific astronomical structure rather than an arbitrary symbol set, guidance and manifestation work read against the current, real time position of the moon rather than a fixed archetype drawn independent of the calendar.

That lunar phase structure distinguishes Moonology Oracle Cards from most other oracle decks, whose card meanings hold regardless of when a reading takes place, and ties its use directly to whichever real moon phase and zodiac sign the reader is currently under. The deck's place within Boland's catalogue led directly to two further Moonology titles, Moonology Manifestation Oracle in 2021 and Moonology Messages Oracle Cards in 2023, both keeping the same underlying moon phase and zodiac structure while adjusting what kind of guidance each deck's cards are written to give, extending a system originally built for a book into a small family of related oracle decks.
