The Baha'i community's own Baha'i World, Volume XVI, covering 1973 to 1976, records that New Era High School had by then grown to enrol more than 370 children from twenty two countries, studying from kindergarten through the higher secondary level, with a teaching staff that had grown from three in the early days to more than sixty, both Baha'i and non-Baha'i.
That growth from sixteen founding students to an internationally drawn student body in three decades describes a genuine expansion in scale and reach, not merely in numbers: a school serving twenty two countries' worth of families had become something closer to an international institution than the small local hostel it began as in 1945, run by a staff that had itself grown twentyfold over the same period.
The school marked its 80th anniversary on 1 August 2025, continuing to operate today.
