Monotheistic Dualist Religions

This group holds religions of a monotheistic-dualist character, traditions that affirm a supreme good God while giving real weight to an opposing principle of evil, so that the cosmos is the arena of a struggle between the two. Zoroastrianism is the classic example, and this outlook influenced later Western thought.
