Zoroastrian sacred sites
This group gathers the sacred sites of Zoroastrianism, the fire temples where the sacred fire, symbol of the good creation, is tended, together with the towers and precincts of the tradition. Fire is central to Zoroastrian worship, and the temple that houses it is its focus.
The browser will find the fire temples and holy places the atlas gathers. The entries describe each site's religious function and history within the Zoroastrian communities.
