The Families of Yogas
The classical literature of Vedic astrology sorts its named planetary combinations, the yogas, into families: raja yogas concerning power and status, dhana yogas concerning wealth, chandra yogas formed around the Moon, nabhasa yogas defined by the pattern the planets make across the chart, and others. This category holds those groupings.
Sorting the hundreds of individual yogas into families gives the astrologer a way to navigate them, to ask what kind of result a combination promises and by what mechanism, rather than treating each as an isolated rule.
