The Sisters of Providence of Ruille-sur-Loir are a congregation of Roman Catholic religious sisters founded in 1806 by Jacques-Francois Dujarie. Dujarie recruited two laywomen and had a small house built for them, called The Little Providence, where they set up a school to teach young children and a dispensary to give basic medical assistance to the poor of the neighborhood. The institute later spread to Belgium, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka and Madagascar, and is headquartered in Ruille-sur-Loir, Sarthe, France.
