Dorotheus of Gaza, also known as Dorotheus the Archimandrite or Abba Dorotheus, was a Christian monk and abbot who lived from about 500 to sometime between 560 and 580. He lived as a monk at the monastery of Seridus near Gaza and wrote instructions on the ascetic life that went on to influence both Eastern and Western monasticism.
