Xargi

Xargi, also called Mangi, is the chief ruler of the underworld in Siberian mythology, described as an ancestor of shamans and a bear brother of the creator god. He searches for the omi soul after it has taken a shadow form known as xanjan, and upon finding it he returns the soul to earth as a bird so that it may enter another creature's body.
