Ziracah Among the Twelve Kings

Ziracah is one of the twelve Zodiacal Kings tabulated in Liber Scientiae, the register John Dee compiled from the angelic sessions he held with Edward Kelley and dated to May 1585. The manuscript assigns the ninety-one Parts of the Earth, the Enochian Governors, three to an Aethyr with one exception, and separately places each Part under one of twelve Kings, each tied to a tribe of Israel. Ziracah governs the tribe of Reuben.

Seven Parts fall under Ziracah. Two share the second Aethyr, ARN: Pacasna, assigned to Tuscia, the older name for Etruria in modern Tuscany, and Dialioa, assigned broadly to Asia Minor. The rest are scattered across later Aethyrs: Ambriol, in the twelfth, LOE, assigned to Orchenii, the district of Orchoe in southern Mesopotamia; Cucarpt, in the sixteenth, LEA, assigned to Sauromatica, the land of the Sarmatians; Sigmorf, in the seventeenth, TAN, assigned to Colchica, the Black Sea kingdom of Colchis; Obvaors, in the twenty-fifth, UTI, assigned to Persia; and Saziami, in the twenty-seventh, ZAA, whose territory, Oacidi, answers to no place scholars have identified.

Ziracah's zodiac correspondence, like every King's, is a modern reconstruction laid over the tribe Dee's own material names; the angelic sessions record tribes, not signs, and give no rule for deriving one from the other, so competing schemes now circulate with no manuscript authority behind any of them. Ziracah is unrelated to the seven Kings of the Heptarchia, a separate weekday system recorded in De Heptarchia Mystica from the same Dee and Kelley collaboration.
