The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch is J.J. Hurtak's modern channeled cosmological text, first published and copyrighted in 1973 and issued in book form by The Academy For Future Science, the organization Hurtak and his wife Desiree founded the following year. Hurtak presents the work as a teaching delivered on seven levels, received from a being he identifies as the angel Enoch, addressing creation, consciousness, and humanity's place among what the text describes as a hierarchy of light. It is unrelated to the ancient Enochian tradition this atlas already covers through John Dee and the Golden Dawn: Hurtak's Enoch is a fresh, twentieth century channeled source rather than a reading of the ancient Book of Enoch or Dee's angelic system. The Academy has kept the book continuously in print across four numbered editions (1977, 1982, 1987/1992 and 1996/1999) and reports sales exceeding 100,000 copies in twenty-five languages; it remains the Academy's founding text and the center of its ongoing teaching and publishing program.
