Home›Trees›Deciduous Trees and ShrubsGroupDeciduous Trees and ShrubsTrees and large shrubs that drop their leaves each autumn and stand bare through the winter, which is the habit the oak, ash, birch, rowan, willow and hawthorn all share and the one that gave many of them their place in seasonal and sacred custom. A plant belongs here when its cited plant database page, or the description of its genus, calls it a deciduous tree or a deciduous shrub. It excludes the evergreen trees and shrubs, which keep their foliage all year and so sit in their own group, and it counts large woody shrubs such as elder and blackthorn because the pages describe them in the same terms.Browse BySourcesComments (0)Reader Challenges (0)Browse ByAll Deciduous Trees and ShrubsDeciduous Trees and Shrubs16 entriesDeciduous Trees and ShrubsFilter Results16
