Demon Queens (Mythical Creatures)

Female demonic rulers in the religion and dance drama of Bali, such as Rangda, the queen of the leyak, who is set against the protective lion Barong. An entry belongs here when its article presents a female demonic ruler. The group page lists related creatures together so that a reader can compare how one kind of being appears across cultures and stories. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
