Autonomous initiatory houses under an initiating elder

This page groups secret societies by how they are internally organized. Wikipedia notes that one proposed sub-category, "Elite Secret Societies," is "composed of high-income or socially influential people," a structural distinction from a society open to any qualifying member. Browsing by polity lets a visitor compare how differently two societies structure who actually holds influence inside them.
