Hermetic Societies

Orders built around a graded curriculum of ceremonial magic, Qabalah and Western esotericism, most tracing their lineage back to, or forming in reaction against, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. This is the largest kind division in the section, eight orders founded across England, Germany and the United States between the 1880s and the 1920s, several of them formed by members who had first belonged to one of the others.
