Maidyozarem is the mid-spring feast among the six gahambars, the seasonal festivals of the Zoroastrian calendar, each associated with one of the religion's seven bounteous creations and celebrated over five days with communal prayer and shared feasting. The gahambars are held in Zoroastrian communities today, both Parsi and Irani, as the tradition's primary seasonal liturgical cycle distinct from the New Year festival Nowruz.
