Text collection / anthology

This page groups scripture texts by their literary form. Wikipedia notes that the Sunnah is documented "by hadith (the verbally transmitted record of the teachings, deeds and sayings, silent permissions or disapprovals attributed to Muhammad)," a distinct reported-saying form rather than continuous narrative. Browsing by literary form lets a visitor compare a law code against a narrative, a hymn, or a collection of sayings.
