Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun ("the Celestial Worthy of Universal Transformation whose Voice of Thunder Resonates from the Origin of the Nine Heavens") is the invocation of the Thunder Patriarch recited in the morning portion of the Xuanmen Zaowan Tan Gongke Jing, the standard Taoist morning and evening liturgical recitations, oriented toward the practitioner's own purification. It pairs directly with the already recorded Namo Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun, recited in the evening portion of the same liturgy and oriented instead toward compassion for others, together forming a genuine morning-and-evening set rather than two unrelated invocations.
