Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa told the Middle East News Agency that the Authority's revenues from 1 July 2022 to 30 April 2023, a ten-month span within one Egyptian fiscal year, reached 1,842,636,703 Egyptian pounds, about 14 percent higher than the same ten-month period a year earlier. The figure is precise to the pound, but it covers ten months rather than a full fiscal year, so it cannot be read as an annual total without adjustment.

Egypt's waqf revenue reaches the public mainly through periodic ministerial statements covering partial fiscal-year spans like this one, rather than through a routinely published audited annual report, a disclosure pattern that gives the public dated snapshots of growth rather than a continuous account of the Authority's finances over time.
