Quran 17:24 (Palmer 17:25)

The Quran

On the duty owed to ageing parents, immediately after the command not even to say 'fie' to them. 'Lower the wing' is the Quran's own image, of a bird settling its wing over its young. Palmer's numbering in this sura runs one ahead of the Kufan count.
