Ritually used in says that an object, plant or substance is used within a ritual context, whether a ceremony such as Sukkot, an event such as the coronation of the British monarch, or a region where the practice is attested, such as entheogens including ololiuqui in Mesoamerica. Plants used in ritual here reads the inverse, though live usage also covers non-plant ritual objects such as the Stone of Scone and the ketubah.
