The Bose Monastic Community is an ecumenical community founded by Enzo Bianchi in 1965 at Bose, a small settlement in the comune of Magnano in Italy's Piedmont region. Bianchi began in solitude and gradually gathered a membership drawn from different Christian traditions, including Catholics and Protestant ministers, living together under an approved monastic rule as a deliberate experiment in bridging historic Christian divisions through shared communal life and spiritual practice.
