A high-relief marble panel from the south side of the Gigantomachy frieze on the Pergamon Altar, the Hellenistic monument built for King Eumenes II in the first half of the 2nd century BC, held by the Pergamon Museum, Berlin. The panel shows Helios rising from the ocean in his quadriga, armed with a torch, entering the battle against the Giants and rolling one underfoot as he advances, positioned in the frieze's sequence of divine combatants after Eos, goddess of dawn. It is a separate panel from the frieze's east-side Athena and Alcyoneus scene already in this atlas, part of the same 113-metre frieze but a different figure group.
