2024 Statistical Report of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

This is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' own 2024 Statistical Report, read at General Conference and published through its Newsroom, giving the church's official membership, congregation and unit counts for the year. As the church's own annual return it is authoritative for what the church itself counts and reports, in the categories it defines. Its limit is that it is not an independent demographic study: recorded membership includes everyone baptized or blessed as a child who has not been formally removed from the rolls, whether or not they remain active or self-identify as Latter-day Saint today, so it can exceed counts from independent census or survey self-identification in a number of countries, and a claim about active or practicing membership needs a source outside the church's own statistical return.
