The Imperial Household Agency, the Japanese government body responsible for the Imperial Family's affairs, publishes its own record of the accession ceremonies of 1990, giving the dates of Emperor Akihito's Sokuirei Seiden no Gi enthronement proclamation on 12 November and the Daijokyu no Gi, the Daijosai ceremony proper, on 22 and 23 November.
