Adventist Church's Solid Finances Will Free More Funds for Mission, Leaders Say (Adventist Review, 2024)

Adventist Review's own report on the Treasury Report given by General Conference Treasurer Paul H. Douglas on the first day of the Spring Meeting of the GC Executive Committee, held in Silver Spring, Maryland, on 9 April 2024. The report stated that the General Conference ended its most recent financial year with approximately 310 million US dollars in net assets, 92 percent of it in cash and investments, that tithe received was 91 million dollars against a 78 million dollar budget, that offerings received were 97 million dollars against a 74 million dollar budget, that program expenses were 172 million dollars, and that the General Conference held 13.9 months of working capital and 11.1 months of liquid assets, both reported as above policy recommendation.
