Its section on homosexuality states that Islam considers same-sex marriages to be invalid, so all homosexual activity is extra-marital, and that since Islam forbids all sexual activity outside marriage, homosexual acts are considered sin. States more specifically that Islam forbids lewdness between men and men, women and women, and men and women not married to each other, citing the Holy Qur'an 4:16 to 17, and that numerous hadith of the Holy Prophet condemn sodomy as hateful in the sight of God.
