Joseph Peterson's online edition transcribes John Dee's own primary manuscript, De Heptarchia Mystica, held as British Library Sloane MS 3191 and dated to 1582 and 1583, organizing the seven named kings and their paired princes by day of the week as Dee himself recorded them. This record states its own verification method: the seven king names were cross checked against Peterson's separate full text edition of Dee's Five Books of Mystery, which lists the same seven names together, a documented check against a second edition of the same primary material rather than a single unverified transcription. As a primary text in transcription it is authoritative for what Dee's own manuscript records, not for whether the angelic system it describes functions as Dee believed.
