Ephemerides of the Asteroids: Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, 1900-2000

Eleanor Bach was an astrologer, and this 1973 volume is her own tables of daily positions for the four largest asteroids, Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta, across the twentieth century. Its significance is documented rather than claimed: it is widely credited within astrological literature as the publication that made the asteroids practically usable in chart work, effectively starting asteroid astrology as a distinct practice. Its limit is that it is a data table compiled for practitioners, not an argument for why the asteroids should carry astrological meaning at all, so a claim about their interpretive significance needs a separate astrological or historical source, and any claim about astronomical accuracy should be checked against a modern ephemeris rather than this decades old edition.

Facts
Assessment
Reliability Tier
2
Eleanor Bach's own tables, self-published through her Celestial Communications imprint, a practitioner's data compilation credited within astrological literature as foundational to asteroid astrology rather than an independently reviewed scholarly work, hence the middle tier.
Notes
The publication that made the four major asteroids practical to use in chart work; the effective beginning of asteroid astrology.
