Esoteric Astrology

Alice A. Bailey's Esoteric Astrology, published by her own Lucis Publishing Company in 1951, is the third of the five volumes of her A Treatise on the Seven Rays and a primary text of Bailey's Theosophically derived esoteric system, presenting astrology as a vehicle for spiritual and planetary evolution within her broader channelled cosmology. As Bailey's own foundational text within her own tradition, it is the direct and authoritative source for what that specific modern esoteric system itself teaches. Its limit is that it is a believer's own scriptural style text expressing one particular modern esoteric movement's doctrine, self-published through the movement's own press, rather than independent scholarship or a claim resting on any evidence outside the system's own internal framework, so it should be cited as a primary statement of Bailey's teaching and not as an established astronomical or historical claim.
