Reliability Tier2
Tier 2: an established regional English-language newspaper, read directly, reporting Bahrain's Royal Order No. 18 of 2026 creating the Council of Islamic Endowments Affairs, its chairman and twelve member board, and that the pre-existing Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Administrations continue as its executive bodies. No financial figures for either endowment body are reported; a widely cited figure describing an annual government allocation to each endowment board could not be verified directly, since the United States Department of State's religious freedom reporting site returned a technical error on every attempt (five separate fetches across the current and two archived domains).
