The Association for the Protection of Vaishnava Children incorporated in March 1998, the Task Force's proposals were adopted as GBC policy at the 1998 Mayapur meetings, the Child Protection Office began operations on 1 April 1998, and the GBC adopted a further Child Protection Policy and Procedure Guideline in 2005.
